1
Where are you located?
BatchLife is a home-based cottage food bakery in North Little Rock, AR with dreams of taking it on the road as a dessert food truck. This location is not a storefront.
2
What are your hours?
Due to working a Monday through Friday job, BatchLife is only open at weekend local events. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with where I'll be each weekend at @batchlifebakery.
3
Do you have any gluten-free options?
Due to the varying sensitivities of gluten, BatchLife does not have any gluten-free options. I operate in a gluten environment and cannot guarantee the level of gluten present in each product. However, Dempsey Bakery of Downtown Little Rock has amazing gluten-free desserts!
4
Do you have any diabetic-friendly options?
Due to demand being low and the short shelf life of some diabetic-friendly ingredients, we do not carry diabetic-friendly products at the moment.
5
Who is the Baker? Social Media Manager?
Hello! My name is Kimberly Bratton. I own and operate all aspects of the business from baking, to administration, to cashiering, to social media, and beyond.
6
Why are your prices so high?
My prices aren't high. There's a lot more than just ingredients that go into the prices. To name a few, I include things like the difference in my utility bill from before I started the business to after, equipment costs, as well as farmers' market setup supplies among other things. Not to mention this is a for-profit business and I charge an hourly rate for my labor. I have spent decades perfecting my craft, so I charge for my experience in the culinary field which includes my culinary school education. All of this is divided into how much product I can produce within a set time frame. The result is the price you see.
7
What makes your vegan products vegan?
Instead of using butter, eggs, and processed sugar, I use plant butter, flax seed, raw sugar, plant-based chocolate chips, etc. I've even made sure to use parchment paper instead of my standard wax paper when baking. I love to learn more about vegan baking, so if you have tips and tricks, send me an email!

What is the best way to get in contact with you?
Email is the best way to get in contact with me. Since I work two part-time jobs Monday through Thursday, I am unable to answer phone calls during that time. Fridays through Sundays, I keep a close eye on phone calls and social media DMs.
9
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! Check out our DoorDash storefront at https://order.online/business/batchlife-bakery-11485944 to schedule your next cookie order. All other orders are pickup only.
10
What makes your products different?
My unique palette and creativity is what sets BatchLife Bakery apart from the rest. Culinary school helped me expand my palette and creativity. Working at a beer bar for a few years pushed my palette even further. I've taken all of those experiences and created a home-based bakery that pushes the norm when it comes to dessert flavor combinations. With each new idea that strikes me, new product is created for the public to savor.

Can I order a product off-menu?
Unfortunately, no. If the product you desire is no longer on the menu, I no longer have the ingredients for that product. I used to accept custom orders often, but ended up with shelves full of ingredients no one else was custom ordering. BatchLife Bakery invested a large amount of money into these ingredients for them to expire and be thrown out. To avoid wasting money further, we have to stick to the menu. The only exception is a custom 6" cake that starts at $210.
